Requesting a Clinical Rotation

For an overview of patient care departments by facility, refer to the Nursing School Unit Resource Guide.

Please refer to the below timeline for requesting a clinical rotation. These timelines are in place to ensure timely access to the Epic system and compliance with regulatory standards. **Submitting a request does NOT guarantee placement.**

• Fall (September-December): Application deadline is May 1; decision notifications will occur during the month of June and any remaining forms are due July 1
• Spring (January-April): Application deadline is September 1; decision notifications will occur during the month of October and any remaining forms are due November 1
• Summer (May-August): Application deadline is January 1; decision notifications will occur during the month of February and any remaining forms are due March 1

All student rotations are managed by school faculty through InPlace. Please log in to InPlace to request a clinical rotation, assign students, and submit student documentation. Students will NOT have access to the InPlace program.
