Dr. Mila Shah-Bruce earned her Medical Doctorate from St. Matthews University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman after she received her undergraduate from the University of Georgia. Dr. Shah-Bruce was previously in private practice in North Carolina and came back to LSU Health as an obstetrics and gynecology Associate Professor and medical student Clerkship Director. Dr. Shah-Bruce is board certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has a focused practice designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She is also board certified by The American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2017 and practicing medicine since 2008. She has a special clinical interest in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology however sees patients of all ages for both obstetric and gynecological needs.Dr. Shah-Bruce has a special interest in patient satisfaction and was inducted in the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2018. Dr. Shah-Bruce earned her PhD with an emphasis in health professionals education. She finds enjoyment in teaching students, residents, and patients.
