His research project was on stroke, neurodegeneration and neuroimmunology in early 2000s. It logically extended in the immune system at the University of Pennsylvania between 2004 and 2008 on ion channels and immune cell activation. His current research interests are biomarkers in intractable temporal lobe epilepsy, electroencephalogram (EEG) analysis, post stroke seizure.
