Our ophthalmologists and supporting team members provide care that rivals the top programs in the nation in a convenient setting: our Eye Center. We use the most advanced diagnostic and treatment procedures to offer both surgical and nonsurgical care to patients throughout our region.

Conditions we treat and our ophthalmologic specialties

We provide care for many eye-related conditions, including:

• Cataracts (a clouding of the eye’s lens)
• Diseases of the ocular muscle, which rotate the eyeball
• Disorders affecting the retina (light-sensing cells in the eye), including diabetes
• Eye tumors
• Glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye that can damage the optic nerve)
• Ocular muscle disease
• Pediatric eye disease

• Corneal transplants, in which we replace part or all of your cornea (the clear front layer of your eye) with donated tissue
• Neuro-ophthalmology, which involves visual problems that are related to the nerves
• Oculoplastics, which involves surgical procedures for the eyelids, tear ducts, face and surrounding tissues of the eye
• Refractive surgery, also known as vision-correction or laser eye surgery, which can reduce or eliminate your need for glasses or contact lenses
